 Tax Associate, possible ownership opportunity: Jacksonville, FL

Seeking someone to eventually take over the tax side of their business!  Great Opportunity with a small CPA firm, will handle all of the tax clients.  Must be self-directed and able to work within a small team. Creative Solutions a plus.

Tax (Accounting) Manager, CPA preferred: Jacksonville, FL

Great opportunity with a small CPA firm is seeking an Accounting Manager who has public accounting experience specifically with tax and some audit. Must have supervisory experience, be able to prepare a financial statement, will do annual compilations with non-profits, will be a resource for the employees, will review their returns, will prepare the larger clients returns, must be able to work independently and be self-motivated. Some audit and non-profit( 5013C) exp a plus. Creative Solutions a plus but not required. Also uses Ultra Tax. Must know GAP, be able to work/paper/document. Seeking someone who completes something and is accurate the first time. Company is going paperless with engagement solutions from Creative Solutions for audit.

Internal Auditor: Jacksonville, FL

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years exp. in accounting and audit experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Acctg or Finance, working knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley legislation, ability to think strategically and assist the organization and management in identifying operational efficiencies.  Big 4 experience preferred but not required.  This position will have 25-40% travel.  Responsibilities to include:  implementation of Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, assist in preparing a company risk assessment and the annual audit plan, Plan and oversee and conduct financial, operational, compliance and IT audit,  periodically meet with the external auditors to ensure optimal audit coverage and an efficient, economical coordination of efforts.

Investment Accounting Manager: Jacksonville, FL

Manages the investment accounting and reporting for the companys portfolio. Supervises 2 investment accountants. Works closely with Investment and Accounting Departments, as well as regulatory and banking contacts. Maintains and updates investment portfolio database. Provides monthly, quarterly and annual investment reporting for management, Board of Directors, and SEC reporting. Minimum Requirements: General ledger, investment accounting, financial reporting, Excel, Access. Good communication and organizational skills. Must have an Accounting and/or Finance degree. Two years experience in valuation and reporting of various financial instruments. Four years accounting experience. Two years supervisory experience.

Corporate Accountant: Jacksonville, FL

Fortune 500 company seeking accountants with a minimum of 2 years experience and a bachelors' degree in accounting or related field to fill multiple positions at various levels within their Corporate Accounting Department. The ideal candidates will have experience in a corporate environment working with journal entries, G/L account analysis and reconciliation, multi-level consolidations, and financial statement preparation. The ability to interface with management at all levels, manage multiple responsibilities, and work within a team are very important, and experience interacting with auditors and supervisors are pluses. Strong PC skills with a knowledge of Excel, MS Word, and 10-key by touch are required, and JD Edwards experience is a plus. High energy, a positive attitude, good communication skills, and flexibility are all necessary in this fast-paced environment.

National payroll company is seeking payroll specialists. The company has a career path for those individuals who want to progress within a company. For this position we are seeking the following attributes: must be service oriented, able to multi-task and handle stressful situations while multi-tasking, a mininum of 9,000 kph is required, must be very detail oriented and good with numbers. Half of the time expect to be on the phone talking with clients. This is a relationship type of position and building that relationship is essential to keeping the customer for everyone in any position.   Must have accounting or payroll experience.
